Well here we go. After a long period of neglect, I'm blogging again. I'm angry, I'm conservative and a voting veteran.

Politics continue to run in cycles. Democrats run things into the ground for a time, the people have enough and run them out of town and the Republicans get their turn to screw things up. I have major problems with the Department of Homeland Stupidity under the stewardship of Janet Napolitano.

In case you've been in hibernation, DHS recently issued a politically charged report entitled "Right wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment". The various download sites and news organizations that placed the report online have been so busy it's been nearly impossible to obtain a copy of the complete report. The more visible pieces that have been widely released and highlight what this document is. Political character assassination of veterans by the liberals in Washington who have a long history of ignoring and neglecting issues that impact those of us who served. The most telling phrase in the entire report that speaks to the quality of the product is a footnote. "While there is no specific information that domestic right-wing terrorists are planning acts of violence, such acts could come from unnamed rightwing extremists." Which groups, Janet? The Insane Clown Posse? In my opinion, this characterization is part of a greater CYA movement within the current administration to prepare for the inevitable flack from groups such as veterans and outraged taxpayers who express their outrage over promises made and broken by the Obama crew. Watch and see. The first organized protest that gets raised will draw a quick "See we told you so! Those extremists are at it again."
